About Dr. Chelsea

I am a small-town Midwest girl, born and raised in Troy, Missouri. My journey to functional medicine began with my own health challenges. Seeking answers to lifelong digestive issues sparked my passion for understanding root causes and natural healing. This drive led me to pursue advanced healthcare training centered on a whole-body approach, and I found Chiropractic.

During my doctoral studies at Logan University, I completed both my Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences and Doctorate in Chiropractic while pursuing extensive training in functional medicine through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). I also became certified in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, expanding my ability to address complex health conditions through multiple healing modalities.

My own experience with chronic stress, adrenal insufficiency, hormone imbalance, hypothyroidism, and fatigue during my academic career deepened my understanding of the interconnected nature of health. These challenges strengthened my commitment to helping others, particularly women, recover from burnout and restore their health through functional medicine approaches.

Through Abide Functional Wellness's virtual platform, I've helped women across the country overcome hormone imbalances, digestive issues, chronic fatigue, and autoimmune conditions.

My lifelong dream has been to serve others through natural healing, and I'm grateful to do this both virtually and within my local community in my chiropractic and acupuncture clinic, Abide Fayette. Through personalized protocols, advanced functional medicine testing, and lifestyle modifications, I help women reclaim their health and vitality, always aiming to honor God's design for natural healing.
